On October 24, 2017 at approximately 6:51 a.m. Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie Memorial Hospital EMS responded to North Main Street in the area of Maple Street for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident in which a pedestrian was struck.
Officers responded to the scene and found that a Jeffrey Taylor, 57 of Rochester, New Hampshire was crossing the road at a crosswalk when he was struck by a 2016 Nissan Versa being operated by Marc Murphy, 49 of Rochester, New Hampshire. The Nissan was occupied by one minor occupant who was not injured at the time of the accident. There was minor damage to the Nissan. Jeffrey was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with minor non-life threatening injuries.
